AZAFCC often recognizes our members and members of the community.
At the 2018 Sedona Conference, two people were recognized for their outstanding contributions and support to the Arizona Chapter of the AFCC:
At the Arizona State Bar Convention in June 2017, three members of the Arizona Chapter of Family and Conciliation Courts were presented with lifetime achievement awards for their contributions to Family Law:
The Hon. Karen Adam (ret.) was recognized for her past service on the AZAFCC Board of Directors, as past President of the AZAFCC Chapter and for all of her support and contributions to AFCC over the many years.

- Dr. Brian Yee was recognized upon his retirement for his contributions to the profession.
- Dr. Faren Akins was recognized for his many years of service to the AZAFCC Chapter Board of Directors,
- Sidney Buckman was recognized for his many years of service to the AZAFCC Chapter Board of Directors, and
- Jason Castle was recognized for his 2 years as President of the AZAFCC Chapter.
